kmxexii Kid Flash's legacy is steeped in outrun and electro. "Sunset City" and "Light Speed" are a couple of great, speedy tunes; "City" has some flashes of chiptunes while "Light" has an electro edge. "Knightmare" is an amusing barrage of talking car samples. I like the funk vs. outrun remixes of "Crusader". "Pop" and "Future" feature guitar accents; I really dig the guitar hook in the latter. Of all the demos, "Twilight" is my fave, darkstroll with a synth hook that sparkles like a starlit night sky. Favorite track: Light Speed.

Really good EP with an amazing cover by ArielZB... and it's not a coincidence : the whole EP is a collection of Darksynth tracks "à la Perturbator". VHS Glitch is for me the highlight of this compilation, but it's really a solid release as a whole. SokK

18/25 exclusives. "ZZ" is a great opener, outrun with guitar accents that gets things moving; the grave, guitar-driven "Calculated Justice" follows. The rest is generally mellow, excepting "Restless Destroyer". I like the sultry "Last Dream" and "Gluteus" is fun synth-pop. "Into the City" is nice, midtempo outrun. "Shinjuku" has an outstanding sound of urban relaxation. I also like the percussive sound of "Bone Sand". Plaisance's "Challenger II" is my fave, smooth outrun with plucky synth riffs. kmxexii
